Katie and Nick are awesome.

The Blend Boys hopped in our sweet Corollas and made for Charlotte a few days ago. Lake Norman has lots of great paths and parks to enjoy. We are looking forward to shooting their wedding at The Cliffs!

Good times.

Good news!

Nintendo customer service is awesome! Blake just fixed our studio Wii from Outer Space!

Also, our new flash-pack arrived... is it nerdy in this studio or is it just me?

Congratulations Courtney and Seth!

Luke and I enjoyed shooting the engagement session of the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Mabe. Even the looming rain clouds couldn't put a damper on this bright couple. They are a pleasure to work with. Good times!

Congratulations Katie and Beau!

Katie and Beau tied the knot on April 4th on the lovely Biltmore Estate. The spring blooms on the first day of the "Festival of Flowers" made it a truly marvelous and romantic Wedding.

Katie exits the Inn on Biltmore Estate.

The Wedding took place at The Winery. This was new for Luke and I as we had yet to have the pleasure of shooting there. Thank goodness Canon's cameras can click away through the dark, The Wine Cellar is not known for its bright lighting!

The lovely Bride arrives and is greeted by her son.
This is 3200 iso by the way. Yeah, dark!

We had some time to roll around The Estate after the ceremony which was wonderful. What is a spring wedding without pictures of flowers right?

YES! Hundreds of TULIPS!

We wish the happy couple all the best.
Happy Spring!

Bravo!

Yes. Pies !

Oreo "no-bake" Pie. I made this one. Glorious.

Luke and I had a studio reception a few days ago. There was punch and pie, truely a classy affair. Thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed wine and Wii Bowling with us!

Cherry Pie with home-made crust!

And Brie with honey. It was delicious.

Smoochboothin' it up.

Happy (belated) Valentine's day folks.
Hope you all had a good one!

Luke and I both went to Corey McNabb's Smoochbooth Soirée on the 13th. Smoochbooth is a cool party accessory for living large in the South East. Check it out here: here
The Booth produces high quality prints with a quickness too. That in combination with the insaine costume gear makes for a lot of fun.

Here is an example staring Zac and I

Believe it or not, my crushed Red Velvet Tux wasn't one of the props. That puppy is real. I also have a blue one. It is an addiction!

Good times.

Later people.
