Beth and Jon get hitched at the new barn at Claxton Farms.

Beth and Jon: Married.

The wedding ceremony at Claxton Farm's new barn went off without a hitch, even though the rain clouds threatened. All went well, as seen in the photos above.

http://thecorduroyroad.com/ Helped made great music as the first performers of the day. They are and Athens-based Bluegrass sound that everyone really enjoyed.

Flower girls in the tall grass always make for a great photo.

Jodi at Short Street Cakes made an incredible assortment of original looking cupcakes that looked great. Luke and I had little time to analyze them in the normal way (eatin'em) but got a few good shots before they where all gone.

The Bloom Room, a West Asheville based Floral Design Studio, provided naturally colorful pieces that matched the casual atmosphere. I liked the inclusion of chamomile flower. Beautiful!

Claxton kept rocking late into the night. Largely thanks to the good tunes coming out of the band "Menage" of Haywood rd fame. They said they all got together at Westville Pub, just down the street from our Blend Studio.

Claxton Farm is a great place for a great time. Luke and I were proud to be the first to utilize the newly rebuilt venue.
It was nice being part of a wedding like this one. Everyone was from right down the road. :)
